Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to read about Lou Holtz’s life and legacy, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, screen magnifiers or other assistive technology.
Our standard
This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. It was built with that standard in mind and reviewed against it in October 2026.
What we have done
- Text and background colors meet or exceed the required contrast.
- Every photograph has a text description.
- Every link, button, menu and video can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible outline showing where you are.
- Pages use proper headings, labelled menus and labelled tables so screen readers can describe them.
- Pages adjust to phone screens and to zoomed text without sideways scrolling.
Known limits
The videos on this site are hosted on YouTube by other publishers. Captions depend on what each publisher has provided, and some videos may have only automatic captions.
Some of the older photographs are small scans from the original CoachHoltz.com and may be hard to see at large sizes.
Tell us about a problem
If you have trouble using any part of this site, or need something in a different format, please email accessibility@coachholtz.com. Tell us the page and what went wrong, and we will do our best to fix it and reply promptly.
